US-BASED NIGERIAN BODYBUILDER SHOT BY WIFE 


Michael Chidozie, a Nigerian US-based body builder died 18 days after being shot multiple times by his wife, Keaiirra Shavoiyae. The sad event followed intense argument between the couple on March 21, Daily Mail reports on Monday.

According to Daily Mail on Monday, April 15, the father of two was rushed to Ben Taub Hospital after the Police found him with gunshot wounds and his wife in a panic holding their two kids, aged three and two.

Chidozie remained on life support but eventually died due to complications from a severe spinal injury on April 8th.

Keaiirra 28 has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after the shooting, and her charges have not been upgraded since his death. 

She claimed acting on self-defense out of fear for what his reaction might be when he followed her to their bedroom in their Houston, Texas residence.

What the argument was about is yet to be revealed. However, she has been set on bail and is set to face the Court on 23rd May.

FMC Keffi Seeks Help In Identifying Unconscious Road Accident Victim The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, has called on members of the public to help identify an unconscious patient currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. According to a statement signed by Aminu Usman Sarki, on behalf of the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, the patient, identified as Sanusi Abass, a middle-aged man, was brought to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. yesterday by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after a road traffic accident along the Keffi–Abuja expressway.
