The lawyer, Mark S. Zuckerberg, filed a lawsuit in Marion Superior Court, claiming that Facebook’s automated systems have continuously disabled both his personal and professional pages on suspicion of impersonation. Police Summon ADC Members In Kaduna Over Criminal Allegations The Kaduna State Police Command has invited seven members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for questioning over allegations bordering on criminal conspiracy, inciting disturbance of public peace, mischief, and causing grievous hurt. The invitation, contained in a letter dated September 4, 2025, was signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), DCP Uzairu Abdullahi, and addressed to the state chairman of the party. According to the police, the action followed a petition filed by complainants against some party members. TRAGEDY IN RAFIN GABAS AS MINING SITE COLLAPSE CLAIMS FIVE LIVES A tragic incident struck the community of Rafin Gabas, a village under Agwada Administrative Council in Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, as a mining site collapsed, claiming five lives. The incident occurred around midnight on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Coworkers of the victims made desperate efforts to rescue them, but sadly only recovered their lifeless bodies. Residents of the area, joined by sympathizers from neighboring communities, have since gathered to mourn and extend condolences to the bereaved families.  Community leaders also offered prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased and called for urgent safety measures to prevent a recurrence of such tragic incidents in mining sites across the region.

Over 1.3 Million Nigerians Pre-Register For PVCs In One Week – INEC The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that over 1.3 million Nigerians have pre-registered for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) within just one week of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. According to INEC’s data, a total of 1,379,342 new applications were recorded nationwide, with Lagos, Osun, and Ogun states topping the chart. Top States by Pre-Registration Osun State: 393,269 Lagos State: 222,205 Ogun State: 132,823 FCT: 107,682 Oyo State: 66,951 Other states with impressive figures include Kaduna (61,592), Kogi (58,546), Kebbi (35,009), and Yobe (34,888). States with Lowest Figures On the other end, Ebonyi (261), Imo (481), and Enugu (484) recorded the least number of pre-registrations. Former Karu LGA Chairman, Hon. Samuel Akala Gajere, Resigns From APC Hon. Samuel Akala Gajere, a former Chairman of Karu Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, has formally resigned his membership from the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a letter addressed to the Chairman of APC in Panda/Kare Ward, Karu LGA, Gajere announced his decision to quit the ruling party with immediate effect. While appreciating the APC for providing him the platform to serve in various capacities, the former council boss called on the party leadership to strengthen its internal democratic processes to give all members a sense of belonging. “May God continue to bless our collective efforts,” Gajere concluded in his resignation letter.
