NAF Jet Crashes In Niger State, Pilots Eject Safely


A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) military jet has crashed near Karabonde, a community in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.

According to eyewitnesses, the aircraft went down in the early hours of Saturday, causing panic among residents. Locals who rushed to the scene reported that the two pilots on board successfully ejected moments before the crash, escaping unhurt.

Videos and photos circulating online show smoke rising from the crash site as villagers gather around the wreckage.

Although the cause of the incident is yet to be officially disclosed, sources say the Nigerian Air Force is expected to release a formal statement after completing preliminary checks and notifying relevant authorities.

Meanwhile, many Nigerians have expressed relief that the pilots survived, thanking God for their safety.

The incident adds to recent concerns about military aircraft safety, though investigations are now underway to determine what led to the latest crash.

FMC Keffi Seeks Help In Identifying Unconscious Road Accident Victim The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, has called on members of the public to help identify an unconscious patient currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. According to a statement signed by Aminu Usman Sarki, on behalf of the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, the patient, identified as Sanusi Abass, a middle-aged man, was brought to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. yesterday by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after a road traffic accident along the Keffi–Abuja expressway.
