Dangote Industries Warns Against Unauthorized Use of Company Logo On Trucks

Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) has issued a fresh warning to truck operators over the unauthorized use of its logo on their vehicles, describing the act as damaging to its corporate image.

In a statement, the company noted that several operators have branded their trucks with the Dangote logo without approval, a practice it says has caused embarrassment to the brand and misled members of the public into believing the vehicles belong to its fleet.

DIL emphasized that only trucks officially owned or contracted by the company are permitted to carry its identity marks. It further warned that any individuals or businesses found engaging in such unlawful branding would face legal consequences.

The company appealed to security agencies and the general public to be vigilant and assist in identifying offenders, while reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the Dangote brand.
