Dangote Petroleum Refinery to Commence Nationwide Distribution of PMS and Diesel from August

In a transformative move poised to reshape Nigeria’s fuel distribution landscape, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced that it will begin nationwide distribution of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and diesel starting August 15, 2025.

This strategic initiative will offer direct access to fuel for marketers, petrol dealers, manufacturers, telecommunications firms, aviation companies, and other large-scale consumers. The company will deploy 4,000 brand-new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered tankers and over 100 daughter booster stations to ensure seamless, environmentally friendly distribution.

The initiative aims to enhance product availability and affordability while significantly reducing logistics costs. Petrol stations purchasing PMS and diesel from the refinery will benefit from free logistics support, with additional incentives including credit facilities for bulk purchases.

“This marks a major milestone in our vision to revolutionize Nigeria’s energy sector,” the company stated. “We are dedicated to making energy more accessible and sustainable for everyone, regardless of location.”

The move is expected to revitalize inactive petrol stations, boost employment, and support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). By reducing costs for critical sectors such as manufacturing and telecommunications, the initiative will also help combat inflation and drive economic growth.

The program aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and benefits from the support of the Federal Government’s Naira-for-Crude initiative, which has played a key role in stabilizing fuel supply and pricing.

The refinery’s registration process for interested partners—including Know Your Customer (KYC) verification—will run from June 16 to August 15, 2025.

FMC Keffi Seeks Help In Identifying Unconscious Road Accident Victim The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, has called on members of the public to help identify an unconscious patient currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. According to a statement signed by Aminu Usman Sarki, on behalf of the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, the patient, identified as Sanusi Abass, a middle-aged man, was brought to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. yesterday by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after a road traffic accident along the Keffi–Abuja expressway.
