NASARAWA STATE COMMISSIONER OF TRADE, INDUSTRY AND INVESTMENT DECLARES SECOND EDITION OF NASARAWA TRADE FAIR EXHIBITION OPEN
The Lafia City Hall, venue of the Nasarawa Trade Fair Exhibition 2025 was graced by participants in their numbers from across Nigeria who came all the way to take part, showcasing their products while seeking collaboration with, and patronage by the State Government and investors around the world.
Declaring the three day event open on behalf of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Honourable Commissioner of Trade, Industry and Investment, Hon. Mohammed Sani Otto noted that the State is open for investment to all.
While inviting investors to Nasarawa State, he highlighted the presence of abundant minerals resources which attracted investors and led to the citing of the largest Lithium processing factory in the country, adding that the largest Tantalite processing factory is about coming on board. He also mentioned the State's vast fertile land, presence of petroleum that is being explored by the Nigeria National Petroleum Development Company and productive population, reassuring participants of security, hospitality, conducive business environment, friendly policies and manpower supply.
The Commissioner alongside his colleagues from other Ministries, participants and investors went round Pavilions to monitor exhibitions. He commended participants for their remarkable innovative drives and quality products.
The Dangote Group whose plan is to establish Nigeria's largest Sugar Refinery in Nasarawa State with the potential to generate electricity and employ thousands, showcased its products; Dangote Pugeot Car from the Dangote Automobile, Dangote Sugar, Dangote Fertilizer, Dangote Salt, Dangote Spaghetti and Indomie, Dangote Flour among others.
The Nasarawa State, Plateau State, Center for Energy Studies, Federal University of Lafia, Technology Incubation Center, Lafia, National Association of Small Scales Industrialists and many other participants had so much in display at the event.
The Nasarawa Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, National Directorate for Employment, PMAN, Nasarawa State etc, form part of strategic partners while the Federal Competition Consumer Protection Commission played viral role to ensure the success of the event.
