Hamdiyya Sidi Sharif Reportedly Missing in Sokoto Amid Ongoing Legal 


Hamdiyya Sidi Sharif has been declared missing by her lawyer, Barrister Abba Hikima. He disclosed the development in a public statement issued via his official social media platform.

According to the lawyer, Hamdiyya was last seen around 10:00 a.m yesterday, when she left her residence to purchase food items within Sokoto metropolis. Since then, she has not been seen or heard from.

“We have officially notified the Sokoto State Police Command, and efforts are ongoing to locate her,” Barrister Hikima stated.

Hamdiyya is known for her outspoken stance against the Sokoto State Government and is currently facing legal proceedings involving allegations of defamation of character against the administration and the Executive Governor of the state.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident, but public concern continues to mount as the situation unfolds.
