NASARAWA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CONFIRMS SEVEN COMMISSIONER NOMINEES, ASKS YAKUBU KWANTA TO WRITE APOLOGY LETTER 

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has today screened and confirmed seven Commissioner nominees forwarded by His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Nasarawa State Governor.

Those confirmed, following their screening by the House include;

1. Hon. Umar Tanko Tunga - Awe
2. Hon. Munirat Abdullahi - Doma 
3. Hon. Gabriel Agbashi - Doma
4. Hon. Isaac Danladi Amadu - Karu
5. Hon. Magret Itaki Elayo - Keana 
6. Dr Ibrahim Tanko - Keffi 
7. Hon. John W.D Mamman - Kokona 

Meanwhile, Hon. Yakubu Kwanta's screening has been halted by the legislatures pending his submission of apology to the House. It would be recalled that while serving as Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Kwanta turned down a call to appear before the House, an action the House terms disobedience and disloyalty to the State. 

The House is billed to screen the following tomorrow Tuesday, 18th February, 2025;

1. Hon. Aminu Mu'azu Maifata - Lafia 
2. CP Umaru Baba - Lafia 
3. Hon. Mohammed Sani Otto - Nasarawa 
4. Hon. Mohammed Agah Muluku - Nasarawa Eggon 
5. Barr. David Moyi - Obi 
6. Dr Gaza Gomna - Toto 
7. Barr. Jugbo Hauwa Samuel - Wamba 
8. Hon. Mu'azu Gosho

FMC Keffi Seeks Help In Identifying Unconscious Road Accident Victim The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, has called on members of the public to help identify an unconscious patient currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. According to a statement signed by Aminu Usman Sarki, on behalf of the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, the patient, identified as Sanusi Abass, a middle-aged man, was brought to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. yesterday by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after a road traffic accident along the Keffi–Abuja expressway. Mr. Sarki disclosed that while the patient is showing signs of improvement, he remains unconscious and unable to communicate any personal details or next of kin information.
