Chief Edwin Clark Is Dead 

The death of Chief Edwin Clark, an elder statesman and former Federal Commissioner for Information has been confirmed by Prof. C.C Clark, his family member. 

Prof. Clark confirmed the sad event in a statement issued to the Press. The statement reads in part " The Clark -Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, regrets to announce the passing of Chief (Dr) Sen. Edwin Clark, OFR, CON on Monday, 17th February, 2025.

The family is grateful for your prayers during this difficult time. Further details will be provided later."

Clark, a well respected figure who died at the age of 97, was until his passing, the Chairman of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF. He is mourned by people across the Niger Delta and indeed, other regions.

FMC Keffi Seeks Help In Identifying Unconscious Road Accident Victim The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, has called on members of the public to help identify an unconscious patient currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. According to a statement signed by Aminu Usman Sarki, on behalf of the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, the patient, identified as Sanusi Abass, a middle-aged man, was brought to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. yesterday by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after a road traffic accident along the Keffi–Abuja expressway. Mr. Sarki disclosed that while the patient is showing signs of improvement, he remains unconscious and unable to communicate any personal details or next of kin information.
