FIFA INAUGURATES FIRST AFRICAN CONTINENTAL OFFICE IN MOROCCO
The World soccer governing body FIFA has Inaugurated its first African continental office in Maamoura, Morocco.
FIFA, CAF and FRMF, alongside Morocco’s Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, signed the host agreement in Marrakech on Monday evening.
By this development, the Morocco, now the continent's headquarters earns FIFA’s trust as a key partner for the development of football across Africa.
The office is dedicated to serving all of Africa.
This trust has been further solidified by FIFA’s decisions to: Award Morocco the hosting rights for five editions of the FIFA Women’s U17 World Cup.
Morocco has been included as a co-host for the FIFA World Cup 2030.
