SPOKESMAN TO PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU RESIGNS ON MEDICAL GROUND 

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity has tendered his letter on indefinite leave of absence from duty to the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila on Friday. 

Ajuri stated health matter affecting his immediate, nuclear family as reason for his action. He said he has consulted his family to arrive at this decision.

He disclosed this development to the general public through a statement he made public on Saturday, stating thus;

" On Friday, I submitted a memo to the Chief of Staff to the President informing my office that I am proceeding on an indefinite leave of absence to frontally deal with medical matters presently affecting my immediate, nuclear family.

While I fully appreciate that the ship of state waits for no man, this agonizing decision -- entailing a pause of my functions as the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity and Official Spokesperson of the President; Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action, and Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen -- was taken after significant consultations with my family over the past several days as a vexatious medical situation has worsened at home.

I look forward to returning to full-time national service when time, healing, and fate permit.

I respectfully ask for some privacy for my family and I during this time".

FMC Keffi Seeks Help In Identifying Unconscious Road Accident Victim The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, has called on members of the public to help identify an unconscious patient currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. According to a statement signed by Aminu Usman Sarki, on behalf of the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, the patient, identified as Sanusi Abass, a middle-aged man, was brought to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. yesterday by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after a road traffic accident along the Keffi–Abuja expressway.
