FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DECLARES TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY PUBLIC DAY


Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 April 2024 as public day to mark Eid-el Fitr celebration. 

Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Hon. Minister of Interior who made the declaration congratulated the Muslim Ummah for a successful Ramadan fasting, enjoined them to imbibe and practice the virtues that entails kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighborliness, compassion, as exemplified by the prophet Muhammad (Allah be pleased with him). 

In a statement through the Permanent Secretary, Ministery for Interior, Aishetu Ndayako, the Minister urged Nigerians to continue in the spirit of unity in order to improve on, and achieve peace and oneness in the country.

The Hon. Minister wished the Ummah a happy Eid-el Fitr celebration and   prayed that the peace, blessings and favour of Allah be with everyone.

FMC Keffi Seeks Help In Identifying Unconscious Road Accident Victim The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi, has called on members of the public to help identify an unconscious patient currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department. According to a statement signed by Aminu Usman Sarki, on behalf of the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, the patient, identified as Sanusi Abass, a middle-aged man, was brought to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. yesterday by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after a road traffic accident along the Keffi–Abuja expressway. Mr. Sarki disclosed that while the patient is showing signs of improvement, he remains unconscious and unable to communicate any personal details or next of kin information.
