DRUNK DRIVER WHO CRUSHED 3 FEMALE CHILDREN IN TOTO LOCAL GOVERNMENT TO BE ARRAIGNED BEFORE THE COURT


The drunk driver identified as Ya Zakari who ran into 3 female children of Mal. Suleiman Ozakwo, a Class Teacher in Toto Local Government Area, Nasarawa State is to be arraigned before the Court. 

The sad event took place on Friday 12 April 2024, along Rafin Kunama, Abaji Road, throwing Mal. Suleiman and his family into mourning. 

Saidu Alhassan, a family member narrated that the girls named Nusaiba, Rumaisa and Maryam were crushed by the driver to death on their way home from their uncle's house after paying Sallah homage, metres away from Ohinoyi's Palace. 

Mal. Suleiman Ozakwo, father of the 3 children described the death of his children as untimely, nonetheless stated that he cannot question God for the tragedy. He further solicited for prayers from the general public for the repose of the souls of his children.

The driver who has since been apprehended by the Police is billed to be arraigned before the Court for trial. Angry youths have set his car ablaze.
