DANGOTE REFINERY REDUCES PETROL PRICE TO N970 Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol from N990 to N970 per litre. The announcement was made on Sunday through a statement by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer. Chiejina described the price reduction as a gesture of gratitude to Nigerians for their support in the refinery’s journey to becoming operational. DANGOTE INDUSTRIES LIMITED DECRY UNDERMINING OF DANGOTE REFINERY BY OIL COMPANIES  Dangote Industries Limited's (DIL) Vice President, Oil and Gas, Devakumar Edwin, alleges that International Oil Companies (IOCs) in Nigeria are working in cahoot to undermine the Dangote Oil Refinery and Petrochemicals project. Edwin disclosed this at the training program for Energy Editors hosted by the Dangote Group, noting that International Oil Companies (IOCs) are hindering the refinery's attempts to procure local crude oil by artificially inflating prices, compelling the refinery to import crude from distant countries like the United States, thereby increasing cost of production.
